Videographer

We like to work with mavericks. Wild cards. Brilliant, empathetic, creative and strategic thinkers. Talented individuals who are comfortable enough to be independent, but humble enough to know they don’t know it all.

Have the ambition to see your video work everywhere online? Then this could be for you.

Join our team as a videographer. You’ll be responsible for the preparation and execution of daily shoots and edits. You’ll be working closely with the Production Director, Production Lead and Project Management team to deliver great work that sits across social and digital for a whole host of clients. You’ll be fiercely creative, resourceful, self-motivated and independent. The successful applicant will be a true all-rounder, who lives and breathes in a multi-media world, and is incredibly adept at videographer and editing with at least 2+ years previous agency or production house experience.

Role: Videographer
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000
Start: Immediately
Location: Shoreditch, London (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) where possible
Training: Individual training budgets for all members of the team
Holidays: 20 days not including public holidays, your birthday or our 2-week break over the Christmas period.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the wider creative and production teams you’ll be creating concepts, storyboarding, shooting and editing short-form video content or longer-form ads for online use on a daily basis.

  • An ideal candidate must also be able to edit their own material.

  • Whilst they’ll have the help of an incredibly supportive team, they’ll ultimately be in charge of creating content for some of the UK’s most exciting brands; with their videos being seen across social and digital media.

  • As we’re all aware, shoots don’t always go 100% to plan, so we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, with good communication skills and the ability to direct and work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

  • With this in mind, a proven track record of creating work to a high standard for commercial or online purposes is a must.

  • This work often displays a good eye for composition and detail, as well as a strong ability to capture a certain mood and present the familiar in a fresh way. If they can demonstrate this in their portfolio, they’ll stand out.

  • Client budgets vary so they will need to be resourceful and be able to think of ideas and solutions when budgets are limited.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience creating and producing digital content for agencies/commercial purposes

  • An advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom (or similar NLE programs)

  • An understanding of lighting for videography

  • They need to be comfortable seeing a brief through from start to finish; including being in charge of the pre-production, production, and editing stages.

  • A keen eye for what content works online and the latest trends that are taking over the world.
